Agreed, this makes no sense whatsoever, and until I hear it from a credible source, I aint buying it...

...doesn't matter anyway, after the travesty which was Resi5 I won't be buying it anyway, and no doubt it'll sell a LOT less due to people being burned by the experience...

I'm inclined to agree but I think alot of people would be willing to give RE6 and capcom another chance.

Depends. If they continue down the shooter route as opposed to the Survival Horror route, definitely not!

However, the upcoming game for the 3DS looks promising...
