I dunno about this, RE5 was very poor as a survival horror experience, and a far cry from RE4. i doubt the RE series has much traction in the west where other shooters are much more popular.

i dont see Sony doing this because they already have (too) many exclusives coming out, i dont think they need a washed out series going exclusive for 6 months tbh.

well........its about time sony is firing back to microsoft's nasty exclusive deals......& what's a better game to start with than Resident Evil 6:D..........RE5 was amazing but for RE6 i want it to be MORE scary just like old times

Makes total sense! Sony really need to get their act together and throw some exclusives out there! the meager number of games they offer this year doesn't cut it.

Why do this? Loads of RE fans already have a 360, they won't suddenly buy a PS3.

I don´t really trust the source but if true it would be unnecessary since the game would sell more on ps3 anyway.

They only place that it would move a bit of hardware is Japan.

hmm...i really think this is useless...i mean the first RE this Gen was multi-plat day one...and considering RE 6 only will be timed exclusive i dont really see that much more sales on the PS3...if it was for RE5 back in the day this would be a good move IMO but not now...Sony catched the wrong-timed exclusivity game...

Looking at 360 and PS3 sales I think it would be wiser to go multiplatform.

Also give the Wii audience RE5 Wii Edition.
