I think it might be something to do with the servers.

I experience lag with it occasionally, (PS3 version) in which it looks like I'm firing a lot of bullets at an enemy, then he turns around and kills me. On his kill camera I can see I'm only firing half the bullets it looks like I am on my own screen. Which of course puts me at a big disadvantage when playing competitively.

That's really the extent of the lag I've experienced recently, but I do remember back near the launch of the game I had to quit at least a few games becuase it was virtually unplayable.

KZ2 never really lags at all for me online, which is why I loved it so much when it came out. Really the only shooter on the PS3 I've experienced little to no problems with whatsoever.

I can't really offer any advice on the issue.

Apparently though, according to some sources, wager matches see the worst amount of lag. It's also not an isolated issue, there's reports of lag from the PC version to the PS3 version. Probably just huge strain on the servers with the massive amount of players online.

I feel bad for you reask, even the lag I experience pisses me off and makes me turn the game off sometimes.

Have you had the game long? Sometimes (ie. days, weeks) it just seems to be a lot worse then others.

I don't have any huge problems with lag...it shows up every once in a while for me (360 version)

test your internet connection, it doesn't usually lag for me.

If you look on the official COD forums you'll notice that ALOT of people on PS3 and PC have had connection problems, and thus far Treyarch have done little to fix it (most of their patches have focused on the 360).

By the way, the best option would be to check NAT, I've played COD:BO all night on Sunday/Monday and didn't have any problems with connections whatsoever, except for the rare host rage quitting on me, otherwise the connection has been superb.
