No! Now! Get off the computer and begin! >:(

At least you have it. And sorry if I come off as strong. It's just my favorite Zelda game and my 2nd favorite game of all time. I want others to experience the same joy.... :)

Now, START PLAYING, DAMN IT!

Don't worry, I'm almost done with Cave Story.

To be honest, growing up on gaming I always hated timed events. I think it started with the Sonic games, I hated water levels in Sonic (that startup song when you're running out of air still gets my heart pumping ). I just found myself annoyed with the aspect of always being under a timer, and never doing anything on my time.

It's that reason of why I totally skipped out on Majora's Mask. Looking back, it was silly reasoning (also skipped out on Pikmin 1 because of it too...), and now I'm ready to make up for my gaming sins.

And as for you coming off as strong, keep to it. More people such as myself need to play the game after all.

We are in so complete agreement on that. I skipped both Majora's Mask and Pikmin 1 for the same reasons (Pikmin 2 for different reasons, though Pikmin 2 fixed what made me avoid 1)

Retroactively, i see the merits of Majora's Mask in terms of creating a real, living world through time-travel, which is really the only way to do it in a game like Zelda, unless you set the world of Hyrule to some overarching calendar where events occur cyclically, but the inevitable ticking clock put my 10-year-old self right off Majora's Mask at the time.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

Congrats to the best game series ever (IMO)...

25 years of pure bliss! To the best game series, The Legend of Zelda! *Raises glass*

My favourites (in no order, I keep changing my mind so it's easier that way):

Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Twilight Princess and A Link to the Past.

Of course the rest of them are really good (worthy mention: OoA/OoS). But those are the games I can never decide on which I like the most. They're all so great in their own ways. Hopefully SS will rank up with those!

I think Iwata might announce some anniversary stuff in his GDC speech celebrating 25 years of video games (though how anyone thinks video games started in 1986 mystifies me).  Anyway...

1)  Wind Waker

2)  Twilight Princess

3)  Ocarina of Time

4)  Four Swords (GC)

5)  Phantom Hourglass

Happy anniversary!

Zelda is my favourite game of all time and Ocerina of Time was the biggest reason I kept on playing games and buying all Nintendo consoles after that. Because of it I found new games that became some of my favourite games like Metroid Prime, Pikmin, Internal Darkness, RE.

Mario was a good game in the old days but Zelda was special as it was all and more than I have dreamed of for an adventure game. Mario only became the amazing game that could be just as good as a Zelda after I played Galaxy.

All 3D Zelda games are good in their own way but OoT is my favourite still maybe because it was the first game of its kind that truly gave me what I really wanted and what I did not know I wanted. PH is good to but the sailing turned me of and I never bought ST as I don’t like the idea of using a train to move around.

I can’t wait to swing the sword in SS and fly the beast or whatever it is we will be riding in it ;)

Sword fights in mid air and on ground is what I think we will be getting this time. Add to that the ability to charge your sword with different elements like fire electricity, ice and water waves maybe as well.

Think about it on a stormy night with thunder as your only light you hold your sword up high and get hit by thunder from the sky.

With enemies approaching you swing your mighty sword and strike them off their beasts falling too their doom….

Thank you Nintendo for creating this amazing game! Keep up the good work!
