In any case I remember the UNCHARTED 2 WILL FLOP THREAD prior release.......

now look how things have changed even the doubters b4 are now predicting 4-5m sales for U3!!! =D

You sure you're not making that thread up?  If i recall correctly, Uncharted 2 hype was at an all time high before it launched with many of us planning to buy it on day 1.  Please find that thread and post the link.

UC3 will most likely win this by around 2-3 points.

Otherwise there is a possibility of a tie, the hype train for both is big, so the reviewers may be a little harsh in both of these cases.

This comparison is not even fair!!! With the high standards that Uncharted 1 & especially 2 have put out there, i don't think GoW3 can even touch it...in every category. Not to be biased but is the true and everyone knows it. But that does not mean that GoW3 would be a terrible game, it can still have good scores but it won't surpass Uncharted.

Well I'm reasonably confident Uncharted 3 will win the metacritic battle, but I'm more confident Gears 3 will win the sales battle. In terms of the artificial war that's been created between these 2 games sales>metacritic, so Gears 3 will win the war.

But the great thing is both games are going to be of a really high standard and both games are going to sell very well. I certainly hope Uncharted 3 will become the 3rd PS3 exclusive to reach 5 million in sales (or maybe the 4th if Uncharted 2 gets there first).

As a proud Xbox 360 owner, I voted and fully believe that Uncharted 3 will not only review higher, but will sell higher and will be the better game overall. And I have not even played a single Uncharted game, yet I own and have beaten Gears of War and Gears of War 2.

Gears of War was a classic game that took me back to Contra. Gears of War 2 killed the series for me. I honestly want Gears of War 3 to fail and not only fail with a whimper, but I want it to be a spectacular failure.

Skipping this whole thread of replys. I will say Uncharted would score better, but really what is score but a professionally lame opinion.  Personally speaking I will enjoy uncharted 10 times more, as I hated the last two gears SP modes.

Honestly that seems pretty extreme...why don't you give it a chance before condeming it and wishing for it to sell less then 1 million copies.
