edit: okay people stop complaining about the pictures, thats not the point of this thread. anyway a found what i thought was a good pic. Now they are both similar with the plant life and all, and know they are both gameplay (i think i cant see HUD on gears, but it looks ingame)

seriously where did you get those pics, look at marcus arm, gears 1 looked better than that. C'mon man, if you are doing the thread type in gears 3 or dont put pics in.

To answer the question most likely Uncharted 3 will metacritically score better

Uncharted2: 4.4m (still selling)

Unchrated3: maximum of 5.5m 

 

So yeah, 2m gap is entirely possible.

Now what do you think... I am really interested to know.

 

Uncharted 3 will certainly NOT have a max. LT of 5.5M,that's for sure.U2 alone will sell 5M LT,I expect U3 to sell at least 6M.

There's not much of an improvement over GeoW1 with GeoW2...I expect the same with GeoW3,500k more than GeoW2.So I give it a max. LT of 6.80M

It'll come down to a few things:  Will critics become harder to please buy Uncharted's groundbreaking graphics?  Will they finally grow tired of Uncharted's formulaic storylines and Drake's wisecracks?  Will GeoW3 offer new and innovative multiplayer modes like Horde Mode or has Epic run out of ideas?  Will GeoW3 and Uncharted break new ground or will they be more of the same?  Will reviewers prefer Uncharted's physics and realistic world or Gears' fantastic and over the top world?  Will the games be reviewed fairly by reviewers with no agenda (like giving one game a low score to garner site hits or giving another game a high score because they like one brand more than another).

Like I said, too many unknowns.  All I know is that I'm buying 'em both and the holiday season can't come fast enough.  Oh, and Mass Effect 3 is gonna be better than both of them.  ;)

Actually while ME3 may be better than those 2, Skyrim will DESTROY ME3.

UC3 will score better than GOW3

GOW3 will sell better than UC3

Here's my predictions:

UC3-95

GOW3-91

 

(For fairness:

Zelda: Skyward Sword- 97)

 

As other people have said, there's far too many unknowns to make a fair judgement yet, but on past perfomances, that seems pretty likely
