Well considering they'd get fired if they said otherwise publicly, what else would you expect them to say?

alot of this has come from 3rd party devs as well including such devs such as epic games as well as an lot of 3rd party publishers ranging from activison to namco bandai

then the thread should prob be about activision or epic not "sony devs"

Sony Devs: "NGP is the Machine (Sony Devs) Wanted" (after Sony Devs were told about it by Sony)

Gotcha!

starcraft: "I and every PS3 fanboy alive are waiting for Versus more than FFXIII.
Me since the games were revealed, the fanboys since E3."

A lot of what NGP offers has already been seen on DS. Little Deviants controls with the touch screen....Sooooooo 2004. I really don't see the Hardcore Casual buying an NGP for games like that.

i didn't know the DS had an track pad on the back, or motion sensors  or powerful graphics capabilites. Or 3G functions.

and if touch screen is Sooooo 2004 why is the iphone the most popular phone ever and its an touch screen

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

Sony devs praising a piece of Sony hardware? Stop the presses!

Did i mention iPhone? No.

None the less, Little Deviants plays with the touchscreen and the DS already had a piece of that cake 7 years ago. So this is bringing nothing new to the masses and the casuals can give two damns about graphics.

It looks like someone doesn't know what a killer app is.

What do you say it is?

A software that sells hardware. I just don't see people buying a NGP for "Little Deviants".

How do you know that LD's won't sell systems? Nintendogs didn't look like a system seller.

Only for those who didn't want to see it. I wasn't around during it's launch, but it is clear that why it sold so much: it is the true sucessor to the megahit tamagotchi. Now what we have in Little Deviants? It remembers me of that Kirby Dreams Curse. Sorry, but I doubt many people will be buying a NGP for it.

Above: still the best game of the year.

I don't want it,what now Sony.

Some people here don't seem to get the point of the article... -.-

The point is: with the PS3 Sony developed a console without listening to their own devs (and 3rd party devs). The result was a console that was hard to develope for and because of that we had many devs being pissed (mainly 3rd party devs). With the NGP on the other hand Sony worked together with their devs, asked for their opinions and so on. The result is console that's pretty easy to develope for, and that's (btw) not just what Sony devs say, Kojima and Sega said this as well.

yeah cuz multi touch screens and track pad are sooooo the same tech the ds had , they will also be used the same way as well for sure >_> if anything 3ds is the one having the same control mechanics that was from last gen. Heck even a improved nub lol

try harder
