I'm not convinced that showing the 2010 footage was a mistake, a news channel that is watched by people the world over has no room to make that kind of mistake.

They should have plenty of researchers who are checking this stuff out. I mean, if you can't get something as  basic as the correct footage from the right year, then what chance do you stand of actually presenting the news with any accuracy?

Perhaps Ron Paul is just a little too Libertarian for Fox. I think that is the more likely scenario.

You're missing the point. Fox used an entirely wrong clip in their news segment with obviously far louder boos than cheers than the actual event had. Additionally, as always with their pos news casters, they introduced Ron Paul in a very ugly manner.

Fox is simply biased, rude, dishonest, and by far the worst news agency that exists in the US.

Thing about Fox News is they had an agenda against Ron Paul in 2008.  He wasn't warpartyish enough for them, so they decided to try to exclude and marginalize him.  The thing here is, EITHER they didn't have anything scripted and the announcers were winging it in response to the video, OR, they fully expected Ron Paul to not get more positive than negative results, so that when they saw the 2010 video, they thought that was the norm.  Also, they apparently are lazy, or don't do sufficient due dilligence because they uploaded the video clip, WITH THE WRONG video, on YouTube.

The reality is that neocons HATE Ron Paul and a bunch of what he stands for.  Murdock is a neocon, so the entire programming is based off that and spun as such.

But hey, carry on defending Fox News.  Don't want any wedge driven in a unified front to eliminate all remains of liberalism and the Democratic Party from existence, complete with getting Obama out of power.  Will do a wink, wink on the size of government, but merely have it grown in the area of dropping bombs and removal of civil liberties.

Ron Paul 2012!

He can't win don't jizz yourself

He's got a chance.

Yeah in France, bet you'd vote for Palin!

Are you implying that Democrats are slower to get on the war wagon than Republicans and are better safeguards of civil liberties? LOL, good one!

It is interesting how many times Fox News engages in these mistakes:

* Mark Foley, Democrat from Florida? (Sorry he is a Republican.  I guess they think all individuals with sex scandals have to be Democrats):

* Fox News drops Ron Paul from showing in Iowa straw poll, YET shows individuals who did worse than him:

http://iowaindependent.com/787/unfair-fox-news-missing-ron-paul-tom-tancredo-duncan-hunter-balance

*Fox News uses doctored photos of NY Times reporter and editor who says Fox News is losing ratings:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvLLL2RFfmg

* And more examples:

Conclusions reached by this?  Either there is an agenda, or Fox News is immensely unprofessional, and grossly incompetent.  Which do you prefer to say Badger?

Maybe it is all just incompetence, where their interest in being error free, as an internal memo indicated, seems to have gone for naught:

No, just that the Democrats, besides the above, are more game for "spreading the wealth around" so that people don't die of starvation in America, or from lack of health care... beyond the use of emergency rooms, which seems to be the form of health care the GOP believes Americans should use when they don't have health insurance.

So, nice to see you are saying Democrats and Republicans are equally war monger and both don't believe in safeguarding civil liberties,

I'm not here to defend Fox News, richard, nor to talk about their general sloppiness or bias. I said precisely what I meant to say: Fox News using a wrong bit of footage does not constitute slam dunk proof of a conspiracy against Ron Paul. If you'll notice, all talking heads across the political spectrum fucking hate Ron Paul unless they can get him to go off about whatever it is they want him to go off about (spending if you're conservative, war if you're a liberal). The fact remains that FNC and FBN are the friendliest networks to Paul by a long, long ways.

And quit calling me "Badger" you goddamn illiterate! ARRRRRGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure why that's nice, but yes. That is exactly the case.
