i think i got a bug or some type of virus or trojan on my computer.  its nothing extremely serious, but i keep getting a ton of pop-ups on my internet explorer.  it seems to be worse when i leave my computer sit for 5 minutes without touching it.  the funny thing is.  i mainly use opera or google chrome so i dont understand whay internet explorer is getting the popups.  also, sometimes the whole computer will slow down to where its barely working.  i ran malware bytes and ccleaner, but that didnt seem to help much.  can someone help me?

I barely know stuff, but I think you should try and detect which processes are active using the task manager (control alt delete) to see if you find the name of the process that's causing harm. That may lead to further information.

Download AdvanceSystemCare,  CCcleaner and Adaware.

Stop using crappy browsers and get Firefox.

AVG and microsoft security essentials =p...oh and adthwart for google chrome. Get a real browser btw.

i had adaware, symantic, and windows defender all running, but i got it fixed.  i unistalled ie down to the 6th version.  i read you cant completely uninstall it, at least not easily, so i unistalled the updates and its fixed.

Download AVG, it has free trial for several days until you need to buy it. It worked for me when I was in your position once.
