but OT - does anyone really miss not having a japan preview.  the only thing i liked about it was laughing at the inaccuracy's once the final numbers are released.

Hardware was never accurate because it was always just a guesstimate they only got softwar numbers, but the software was always somewhat close, it really isn't much different then actual VG Chartz numbers, there never 100% accurate, close though. Also there was the japan pre-orders for big games, that was always interesting.

Software was somewhat close because drops from week to week are very predictable in Japan but first week sales weren't briliant.
