Forums - Sales - The Nintendo DS has conquered Spain

The DS being popular in Spain is nothing new... have you been living under a rock FishyJoe?

I notice that Mario Galaxy is not on the Spain charts despite being released....

DS and Wii are just selling like hotcakes these days!!
NO way to find a Wii here, in Barcelona. They've completely ran out of stock!

Shhh, don't tell that to Diomedes. He sees stacks of Wii's everywhere.

i want him to tell me where i can find a wii, because i need two and i can't find it anywhere

All europe belongs to Nintendo. This is not surprising

"Wii are legion, for Wii are many"

That is very strange, but for some days Super Mario Galaxy has been impossible to find in many stores. I guess Nintedo España did not bring too many units to our country.
For a very long time, Nintendo España has been bringing very small amounts of units for triple A games. When Zelda WW launched, it was almost impossible to find for more than a month since its release. I think Nintendo prefers to run out of stock in Spain rather than in France, Germany or UK, which I think are their priority markets here in Europe.

It just takes some time for a country to divert into something else, give it a little more time and Sony will also lose its last territory

THe GBA already had the 100% of the portable market and with enourmous numbers .The GBA numbers rivaled the PS2 at some stages .This is nothing new ,the DS ha only inherited its predecesor public .

And as for the game sales its pretty pathetic ,its clear all the mums ,casuals and people that have nothing to do with this industry are already out searching for games for that "nintendo thing" as they call it for presents next week ....seeing things as "Do you wish to be a Mom?" and "Fashion Training " in the Top Ten is disgusting .Good luck the PS3 is doing great here or I would believe we are following Japan path to ultra-causalism .In these holidays all the casuals buy games to give as presents so no surprise they flood the charts but if the future was things like Wii Fit ,Fashion Trainer ,More Brain Training 3 and Do you wish to be a mom we should pass to another hobby I fear ...

As for the Wii I dont know about Barcelona ,but in Madrid most stores have some in stock .Few ,but some .For example you can look in Alcampo in Carabanchel ,Corte Ingles de Arapiles ,Opencor of Vallehermoso ,Game Center of Comercial Centre Plenilunio ....in all these stores I have seen some Wiis in stores late last week and monday ....I think they will eventually sell out ,but just as the PS3 is sold out in some places already .
