Ok I've read things quickly once but will only have time to post a little right now.

I've actually been busry the last two days than I have been in quiet a while.  Most of the time away from a computer at all and then the little time I've had with one I've only been able to make the one post is over 24 hours.  Don't worry many more will be coming in just a few hours.

@ therepublic regarding my posts to prof and trash.  The posts weren't about them doing investigating for me.  I still have my investigation going on even thought it was on hold while I was away.  Yes I know they could be scum, however I think it is better to ask others opinions instead of just arguing with the person I suspect.  We never know if anyones opinion is scum or not but we still want to get as many as possible.

I do want more than just theirs and see that a few have come since I made those posts however with the way they were going at it I wasn't sure if they would focus more on eachother than other things going on, or even move on to it if they did.

I plan on pointing out more of my case agaist Heph when I return in a little over two hours.  Plus I go back and comment on things that have gone on since two posts ago for me.

This *100. At first I thought noname was getting at something from a past game, especially the way he waived off Heph and then you two went back and forth. But it quickly became clear what he meant, and that's exactly the type of behavior I was ready to vote Wonk for.

No.  Do not presume that the scum are idiots: if they were, we wouldn't have spent the past days and several hundred posts trying to flush even one of them out.  Do not make the mistake that people did in the last game of letting first soft- and then hard-claims go unchallenged.  Do not let a suspicious player fester any longer than he has to.

If the claim is true, the important information is already out there (and we're already hamstrung by having it in the hands of a player who throws it out there unnecessarily).  Learning more now can only help alleviate our situation, not the scum's; short of believing that between a fifth and a quarter of the players would have overlooked something that we caught onto immediately, the target for the nightkill was obvious.

What I want to know now is why he risked getting lynched without claiming (his lynch was quite possible: he had four actual and seven possible votes on him not too long ago), and why he went and spilled the beans when it was completely unnecessary to do so.   Not one bit of this information would help the scum.

Response: Heph is starting to look that way.
I am sorry, but I can not vote due to me having 4 votes.
If I were to vote, Heph could have his possible mafia buddy vote me.
Thus, saving himself.

I think this is the worst reason I've ever heard for someone not voting.

On the other hand, when noname unvoted he promptly voted in accordance with this being a sincere post.  So whatever.

Just, ABC, in the future, this is a really, really bad reason to decline to vote.  In fact I would say that even if what you were afraid of happened (and I am far from convinced you would get suddenly lynched like that) it would actually help the town identify scum, thus your death would be in a noble cause.

OK I was all set to vote Heph after his tirade, but the very same post made Linkzmax unvote, so maybe not...

And apparently I'm illiterate?

As I said, ABC's stated reason was "like the worst reason evar".  But considering that his reaction to you action was exactly the way he could be expected to behave if his reason was genuine, I'd have a hard time ascribing ulterior motives.

Ah, I got my pronouns mixed up.

You have not thought this through.

If it is true, then whoever has the power to fix it will fix it, and if he's the doc, then he's fucked either way.

If it is false, and he doesn't tell us then scum will waste a night kill.

If it is false, and they know, they will take out a much stronger player.

You make a good point, but I was already taking a stance of not believing any claim from ABC. To me it doesn't matter if it comes today or a later day.(Even if that means that as scum he'd have a chance to converse with his partner(s)) This isn't about giving ABC a townie pass, it's about not offering scum knowledge.
