i find myself actually agreeing with you here. you may be scum, heph may be scum, my vote is on you (right now taking it off wouldnt make any difference anyway).

i was not suspicious enough of Heph for trying to buddy with me.i should have noticed this sooner but i've been distracted.

But since i was mafia in my first game people might be suspicious of me, and there are possible heph-trashleg combinations, only one of which benefits Heph:
1. heph townie & trashleg townie/scum (two possibilities with the same result): nobody knows im a townie (including heph), so might be suspicious of me by default (as i said). therefore, why would Heph want to be associated with me? why isn't he scared that talking to me too much might make him look suspicious?
2. heph scum & trashleg scum: why would he buddy with a fellow alien, and continue it even after people have become suspicious of the interactions?
3. heph scum & trashleg townie: the only combination that benefits heph in any way. heph tries to buddy with me, knowing that he'll pull me down with him. only thing i can think of RE: that whole situation.
