1) trash had to be the cop. If she was faking it, then a counterclaim from you or radish would've meant a town win either today or tomorrow guaranteed.
2) It's funny that you don't want to play follow the cop, but you doubt a setup that would penalize that type of play.
3) For future reference, when is the right time to truthfully claim Miller?
4) I opposed ABC claiming day one, because it really wouldn't have been the best thing if he were town. It just so happens he was horrible scum.
5) I chose not to kill trash because that is absolutely the last thing I would've wanted as scum. Keeping the cop alive risks scanning more players innocent, and if I hadn't correctly guessed she would scan Heph then there would be two "confirmed" townies tomorrow and me at best. I already denied the chance there'd be a godfather on top of a miller.
6) And yes, there was absolutely no way there could be 4 scum, simply by virtue of a quicklynch would've occured day two.

1) Not automatically; we've had games where there were few power roles, and a no-cop game is quite plausible. The last two games have actually skipped at least one of the "required" roles, after all. I don't feel comfortable assuming roles, since doing so has bitten me in the past, but I do know that...
2) There is a limited system in how roles must work. If there is a Miller, there's almost certainly a cop. Essentially, that post was your undoing, at least in my mind. It was a gamble, but a very, very small one. I may not want to play Follow The Cop, but that doesn't mean I ignore how they work!
3) The best time to claim Miller? Beats me, but I think it's very situation-dependent. This is only the second time I've read the claim, and both times it's lead to the claimant's lynch. It may generally be a death-sentence. In any case, it stuck out like a sore thumb when you made it, at least in my mind: apparently though, most disagreed.
4) I still disagree. Unchallenged roleclaims, especially ones that aren't prompted by any need, can fester and hinder the town for days. Unnecessary roleclaiming is bad, but unchallenged unnecessary roleclaims are far, far worst; this game and the last game provide good examples.
5) I don't follow. Trash wasn't going to scan you: there was no point. If trash hadn't scanned heph, it would literally be game over right then and there, since there are two suspects and two lynch opportunities. Even when she scanned heph, it left 2/5 cleared, so each of the unconfirmed townies could do what I did, and risk a mislynch anyways. I think not killing trash hamstrung you too badly to recover from.
6) Don't be too quick to assume that: trash's first game is the prime counter-example!
