ABC's reasoning about someone noticing republic was doctor was complete bullshit. I read it as soon as I saw him post that, and it's the most flimsy evidence ever. Linkz almost gave it away by questioning the whole validity of the thing, but trash...trash took it as an opportunity to get ABC.

I really hope this doesn't backfire on me, and I promise I will never do a trap ever again if I'm wrong.

On that matter, it should still be 5 players to hammer. 4 of 8 is 50% but doesn't eliminate the possibility of a tie. Merely semantics and I don't think it matters much anyway.

Have to catch up, but I'm reading prof's latest posts and I'm blown away. I didn't see the lie after the lie coming, and I was nearly convinced and ready to push for a hammer of ABC due to Republic's death. I had also been thinking the very same about Heph setting up for a mason claim, because everything pointed to that and I really couldn't understand why he wasn't chosen as the night kill.

Anyway, like I said before I left, there is some information I want to share. I scan guilty, as in I'm a Miller. I had been afraid to claim earlier, because I was worried I wouldn't be believed and it would cause a mislynch. I've realized that I was just being selfish. I still don't expect to be believed, but at least by coming out it will save the cop from wasting a night. I'm also not going to lay down and accept a trip to the gallows. With my presence I had been thinking the setup could've been balanced for 2 scum,(maybe one a GF to really screw with cop results) but if it is 3 then my lynch will put town at one wrong vote away from a quicklynch the next day.

Gonna reread day two so far and do that Stefl recap now. If there's any questions for me, ask away.

I don't have time now and this can definitely wait the night break but in light of this claim there are a few questions that impose themselves:

1) _ Linkz was 100% sure there was a cop.... did he ever talk of the cop with certainty or even uncertainty?

2) _ Did Linkz have any notable interaction with Republic? one that could be interpreted as him laying low in front of him as to not be scanned..... (if linkz is mafia and presumed Rep to be the cop, he would have done so on day one as he is a likely to be scanned player, yet he couldn't have been sure of either A) the doc would not see the same town tells from rep and protect him and B) that the doc would be dead).

3) _ Linkz was not scanned last night (100% chance of found guilty). My guess is the scan was not of someone with risk of being lynched (kind of a waist as cops don't come out to save townies), so i'd rule out ABC or myself in the scan.

4) _ FoS Linkz for being a Miller.

5) _ HOS : Linkz ................for thinking i'm setting up a fake masson claim by saying "spicing up the game" when he then comes out with a "spiced up" role claim, if anything, he should have read it as setting up a true claim, not a fake!!

6) _ Assuming there is a miller, that means there very well might only be 2 mafia.

I'm not going to change my vote, or even post anything other than another vote on prof at the start of each day, until prof is dead.  Your gambit's done exactly what most of them do: shitted up several pages of the day, introduced added confusion, and come up with inconclusive results ("guys, trash fell for my gambit, as shown by her voting just as adamantly now for ABC as she did over a week ago!").  Well done, and good luck with that.

1) I'm pretty sure I never questioned there being a cop in this game. If I had it was after the theory that Republic was killed because of a conversation about there being a doctor. I didn't want my insistance that there is a cop to come off as a sign that I am such.

2) I don't believe that's the case, but I'm sure that was directed elsewhere. However, you were actually correct about me being a bit nervous when you had voted me day one. I was worried about becoming suspicious on top of being considered a good player and getting scanned.

3) I'd say that's a valid statement. I was thinking someone might've scanned me and had been trying to make it to day three without having to out themselves, with the thinking being town is already down and needs to make up for it. That'd be quite risky though, and I haven't noticed anyone acting strangely towards me as I would expect if they had scanned me guilty.

4) Okay. That's indefensible though. Unless you'd like me to paraphrase the flavor from my role PM. I didn't even understand it's relevance until the night flavor, when it was revealed that the aliens control humans from within the heart. I have undergone a surgery which left a noticeable blemish on my chest. That's also why I still read the flavor as indicating Wonk could've been an alien.

5) Again, I don't think protown roles would be hinted, and set ups feel like something scum would do to later fakeclaim. On top of that, I figured that I am the spice and there wouldn't be anything else. Finally, the fact that you weren't targeted last night still rings bells with me, but that's more day two than one.(And it's why you stayed at HoS while trash dropped to an FoS)

6) It is still something I'm considering, but with Stefl's post I'm leaning heavily towards a 3-man(or woman) scumteam. I think I was included to prevent a game of "follow the cop" while still having the powerful combo of doc and cop. I wouldn't be entirely surprised if there is additional town power, but every claim should be scrutinized.
