Forums - Sales - Two Worlds II. The first week sales.

So, I have decided to buy this game full price, knowing that the first one was, almost, a complete failure from a gameplay point of view.

After a week of sales, it has sold 165 040 copies on consoles.  Not bad for a sequel coming from an average first game.

I have now spent 9 hours on this second opus and I believe the developpers did a great job.  I have not played the first one, but so far, I must confess that I am addicted to:  the main character, the "breaking up" of weapons and armors, the amazing music, the great graphics, the side-quests, the dialogue of somes npc's and the insane amount of looting to be done.  This game does not take you by the hand but it is rewarding and I always get the sense that I want to play until the end of the new quest that I have just found.

I sure hope it will continue to sell nicely.

Yeah its a pretty fun game.

good to know

Of Course That's Just My Opinion, I Could Be Wrong

didnt know it released. may have to do a bit more research on it.

I'm twelve hours in and it keeps getting better.  The magic system in this game is the best I've played in an openworld WRPG.

It already shipped 1500k copies in Europe before "first week" sales in VGC.

Is it worth the $60 price tag though?  I really want to like this game, but im so skeptical and definitely dont want to waste that money especially with kz3 and da2 right around the corner... should I wait for a price drop or just dive in now?

And its still not released in the UK yet. We've got another 2 weeks to wait for it so it might get another small spike in sales then.

Well, that's nice to know from the point of view that the original was average in every sense, good job for the developers and publishers for turning things around

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

For me, it is definitly worth the 60$ I have spent.  I am now playing Oblivion and Two Worlds II and they are both awesome.  As far as  Two Worlds 2, I am now ten hours in and still have not entered the first big city.  Their is a LOT of stuff to do.
