It's pretty good but, i dunno.....it just didn't really pull me in that much. It's definitely better than what KZ2's demo offered but, besides the awesome start that has you completely murdering everything with the minigun from the dropship, the gameplay felt a little basic. There wasn't really any major shocking or "wow" moments after that. The whole concept of tanks appearing out of nowhere at the same time you're conviniently near some weapon to destroy it has got so old and predictable now. The guns have a very nice feel to them but it wasn't really enough.
I think it's really that im just more of a multiplayer guy nowadays....either that, or i'm just a little burnt out on military shooters. They often seem to be linear for the most part and try too hard to be realistic/cinematic. Yeah the graphics are amazing but for me personally it comes ignorable after a while - there's still games out there that i really love but also look like pure crap.
Again, i'll say it's good but I think Killzone's campaigns just arn't my kinda thing. I was hoping for some very epic war-like battles when I was first getting into KZ2 but it looks like things haven't changed much this time around. I imagine KZ3's full campaign will involve lots of solo/duo work for the most part, with the occasional generic space marines jumping in and dropping like flies as usual. I personally think KZ2/3 could've been much greater, but I can't help but shake the feeling that too much time was probably spent on the visuals/technical details.
I put much more time into the bot matches but because GG let some broken things pass yet again, I think i'm wait on a price drop before picking up the game.
