PSP is the big disapointment this week. With a couple of big-name releases, you would have hoped the hardware sales would pick up as well.

PS2 continues to (slowly) decline, and the PS3 is following it. Not good.

Wasn't a huge week for the Wii, but it still got close to outselling all Sony hardware combined (60k vrs 52k).

360 needs some loving... although at this rate, it may be joined by the PS3 in a couple of weeks. 

Why hasn't the Japanese weekly chart been updated?

Sure doesn't seem like PSP software is driving hardware sales. The DS didn't even get any new titles and hardware is still going like gangbusters.

Are you high? The PS3 has already sold 2x what the 360 sold in over a year...  if the 360 can sell 3000 units per week, then the PS3 will never get that low.

Seeing the PS3 has no significant software for the next 3 months in Japan, and already dropping below 15k, seeing the PS3 drop below 10k a week in japan suddenly becomes a distinct possibility.  That would give the 360 some nice company. :)

Need I say more.

She's/He's talking about the PS3's slide to 360 levels more than the 360 actually surging ahead. The PS3 will probably do better but that's not really saying much.
