Here's a summary of what is shown from the #'s that were given:

PS2:  182, 150

DS     110,332

PSP     88,695

Wii       30,807

 

This looks odd, the PSP is almost at the DS's levels, and the PS2 is whomping the Wii, by a huge margin.

In terms of software PS2 should be whomping everything since there well over 20 million PS2 gamers to sell  games to in Japan...but I suspect since 18/30 of the games were on the DS, DS software totals are similar to PS2 totals.  It looks Nintendo has timed the next wave of Wii software just about perfectly..or they just started running out of stuff...

PSP software is usually close when DS has no new big games, and PSP has a big game or two.

  That's because the list only covers the first 30 so far, and the PSP had two titles launch in the top ten. That'll give it a boost. The DS will do far more software sales once the list is expanded to include everything. The list is helpful in that it shows us how these games have sold, but it shouldn't be used as an indicator of software sales percentages

Sony should just keep releasing Gundam, Baseball and Monster Hunter games this gen
