I was noticing that a number of people comment that the PS3 is in many more countries and locations than the 360/Wii.  I have looked/Googled and can't seem to find anything from any of the manufacturers that describes a precise number of retail locations that they are in. So, if the PS3 is in "lots more" or "many more" countries/locations than the 360/Wii, shouldn't that generally explain some of the PS3's ability to outsell the 360/Wii outside the US?  I know that in these smaller locations, the # of units sold has to be small, but when Sony counts shipped as sold, it can reflect fairly quickly.  

Any info or thoughts would be great!

Sony being a major electronics corporation already has established retail channels in many nations that Nintendo and MS do not because they are not major electronics corporations.

I cannot give you the exact nations or by how mnay they differ but this is well understood by those in the industry.

Yeah, they sell Ps3's everywhere. Even in space!

I thouht that someone would joke about the missing PS3's idea...  I guess, that i was thinking that if they had a significantly larger base of countries and retailers that they sell to, it might explain to those that believe that they have stuffed the channel that they haven't stuffed it, they have filled the needs in many more locations.  Also, i think that most people who are in america can't even conceive of all the places outside the US that are probably selling games systems.

And the whole world loves the PS3.  Peace.

If PS3 passes PS3 WW, but 360 sells more than PS3 in all the countries they're BOTH sold in, which is the more "popular" console

I don't know whether there are any shipment differences but the support of Xbox Live is not all around the globe, some countries, in Asia in particular do not have XBL support.

Marginally higher, if the lists are any indications, the PS3 has more regions to ship for, what logic I am going by? If you are officially shipping to the country, why wouldn't you support it online?
