It's definitely a little different, but I could see myself settling in pretty quick.  I mean, things were bound to change eventually, the game architecture couldn't stay exactly like SOCOM 1 forever.  The view changed a little. Not the worst thing ever.

Also, there is apparently a classic mode for us old players for online, so it's all good.

ps3 is getting to many games this year, il deffo pick this up we are sure spoilt

only reason you and every socm fan are pissed is because its not a copy of socom 2. theirs something called change. and by the looks of it socom 4 is going to have a classic mode(its not 100% what the old socom multiplayer is about) but its atleast something new with a small taste of the past.

Not gonna lie.  I'm butt excited to hook up the sharpshooter and go to town on people.  I was already picking up Killzone ASAP, but now I'm running out to pick it up!  Sweet!

Does anyone know how good the developers are of Socom, as i havent played this before, and i havent heard of any other projects from this developer (dont even know who they are), and i this could be worth picking up from the gameplay we've seen.
