Forums - Microsoft - Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia HD Remakes Coming to Xbox 360?

Recent ratings found on the official ESRB websiteseem to suggest two new HD remastered games, that we heard were coming to the PS3, may actually be on the way for Xbox 360 as well. What am I talking about? Two Ubisoft series – The Prince of Persia HD Collection and Splinter Cell HD Collection.

i suppose they would be individual digital downloads on Xbox

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

If they have achivements I am sold.  My original xbox copies still work great, but I am as big of a Splinter Cell fan as you will find, and unfortunately do not own a PS3 to pick up that collection.  If true this is great news for me...

Interesting. Well I do hope they are coming to the 360 but I'm not getting my hopes up just yet.

I don`t see any reason why they wouldn`t  be.

How our favorite systems are just like humans and sometimes have issues finding their special someone...

Xbox 360 wants to KinectPS3 wants to Move!  Why are both systems having such relationship problems?  The reason is they both become so infactuated with desire while watching the Wii as it waggles on by. They simply want what they can't have.

Usually when a title is listed at ESRB ratings thats almost a somewhat official confirmation. I'm glad It's not a PS3 exclusive if Chaos Theory has multiplayer. Then again that would have been a dumb decision by Ubisoft considering the largest base of Splinter Cell fans are on the XBox 360, and Conviction was an exclusive title (console wise).

It's just that simple.

Seems more likely they'll be avaliable individually on xbl, since it's impossible to get them on a single disk

I certainly hope so. Although i still have most of the originals i would like to experience them all again with achievements.

Good to hear, that's what I found confusing too when Splinter Cell HD was announced, I was like, no 360!? Wth, they tended to sell relatively close on Xbox and PS2 anyway, it would be stupid to alienate the audience. Tbh, making it on 2 DVD's would still probably be cheaper than 1 bluray, but digital seems like a more strategic way forward for the X360 counterpart.

Disconnect and self destruct, one bullet a time.

I knew this would happen, there was no reason of it to be exclusive in the first place.
