Despite whats seemed to be a disregard for PS3 fans who play online, Activision's PS3 version of Call of Black Op's is stealing the Show at Amazon.com. The recent Amazon top's sellers list shows the Xbox 360 version of the game ranking in at the 9th position and the PS3 version of the game clinching the 6th positions. No exact sales numbers were given but Black Op's on PS3 has clocked in at the number two spot right behind Little Big Planet 2; which is selling like hotcakes at IHop on two for one Sunday.
We're waiting on info of how the game is doing at retail but given Amazon's growing force in game sales, we'd expect retail sales to reflect a similar result. VGChartz is reporting that Call of Duty Black OP's has sold 10.67 million units on the XBox 360, and the PS3 version raking in a solid 8.4Million Units.

These sales totals represent world sales and since no one really knows how accurate VGChartz really is, it's hard to say what the real sales numbers are for Black Op's on PS3 or 360 without a current NPD data report. If the PS3 version of the game continues to trend up it could reach or surpass the suspected numbers on the XBox 360. Currently the game is trending above last years release which had the PS3 version selling only 3 million less than its XBox 360 counter part.
Then again, the two games have sold amazing well on both consoles and have already out sold Modern Warfare 2. some have claimed that Activision's has displayed a disregard for PS3 fans by hosting a sub-par server system and blaming Sony for cost cutting measure they took in design the server system for the PS3; maybe they can do without the extra 8 million in sales. Things do seem to be getting better with PS3 Black Op's fans, which was noticeable after the developer preformed a recent update to their online servers.
