Conegamer - I say that the PS3 will beat the DS next week in Japan

There aren't any fisable numbers, but this computer outdone the NES in Britain, in fact one generation of gamers grown up with this piece of hardware as their first gaming experience instead of the NES and Atari.
Some things should just remain in the past, this will be a Spectrum by name only.
It will be interesting to see if it gets an European release...World wide release?

Can't find numbers but in the UK at least it sold a lot. Also need to slightly adjust my original numbers. The ZX Spectrum was released at £125, it's predecessors (ZX80 & ZX81) were between £80-100. They made over £8 million profit in 1982 when it released and made huge profit up until 1984 so I think it was fairly sucessful.

well never heard of it. As australians we got what the japanese bought in so the NES and SMS
