Yeah because they didn't want a Wii version in the first place (too much $$$ spent already on the Ps3, xbox, and PC versions).
If that's the PS3/360 version of the game ported, then all I have to say is "Wow". The fact they managed to do this is just unbelievable.

Well, 3DS has a very low resolution, so this doesn't mean that it's equivalent to the HD versions. Even if you factor in 3D (~ 40% workload), it should be doable.

Of course the game would run on optimal conditions, like RE: Revelations.
The MT Framework Mobile allows for asset sharing between HD projects and mobile devices, of course everything is downgraded I suppose.
But this makes me wonder if we're going to see a RE5 spin off on 3DS. Capcom already has its cash cow, they will milk it.
