Well...yes, but still. You have to give reasons no?

It's just like this news about ARF in Europe, I mean, why not? How hard is it to release an English version of the game in Europe anyway, when it's already in the right language!

Like Disaster Day of Crisis in the US perhaps? The game had American vocie acting already, but wasn't released in the USA. Yet they released it in Europe translated to all the required langauges. Sometimes games just won't make it over.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.
Stakes: 1 week of avatar control for each one.

Perhaps, but...is that really a valid reason?

No, but there might be other reasons, like internal research made which shows that the costs of manufacturing, programming, advertising and distribution might be too much to make a profit by selling the game. So NB maybe thinks that releasing a Wii version would make no financial sense. PS3 has a bigger JRPG userbase, so that wouldn't surprise me.

Seriously though. With all the whining PS3 and Wii owners see over not having enough JRPG love. If they don't buy this game and not support them in FINALLY bringing something over. Then they really don't deserve shit.

You do know that ARF had what many consider to be terrible localization to English, and probably many that were going to buy it (including me...) ended up not doing it because of that? So no, simply bringing over the current English version is not an option.

Agreed. Hence why I expect a multiplat release

@Trestres- that hasn't held people back before when it comes to localisations though...

YES YES YES!

People, buy this baby to bring Xillia and Vesperia to the West, too!

Rockstar: Announce Bully 2 already and make gamers proud!

Kojima: Come out with Project S already!

Those are the only reasons for a game not to be localized. If it's not making money it won't happen. Other reason may be that the teams in charge of localizing are involved in other projects and there's no manpower available to perform the localization, meaning it will come at a later date or perhaps never if other more important games enter the localization process before.
