I didn't like as much RE0 as I did with RE4, but RE0 has an intense atmosphere.

RE3>RE2>>>>>>RE:5>RE4>RE:CV

If you cant tell, I prefer old school RE so 4 was the beginning of the true downslide. CV just seemed to lack a sould IMO....I  cant put my finger on what was missing. RE5>RE4 IMO because at least it was a shooter with some good co-op not just a shooter like 4.

RE4 > REmake!! > RE3 > RE2

haven't played the others. Will get around to 5 eventually.

While I can appreciate the original 3, re4 just set the bar very high imo for many other games. It's one of my fav. all-time games

Resident Evil 2. I want to play 4, but have not had the opportunity to do so.

Ah pretty obviously RE4 for me.  Wonder if the avatar gave it away haha.  Despite being a huge fan of the series, RE4 is really the only one I'd consider to be a truly fantastic game.  Have quite a few gripes with the others, although I did love RE0 (easily the creepiest and most difficult in the series) and REmake.  Least favorite though would probably be RE5.  Ugh don't get me started on that one haha.

very tough one, I think RE2 just wins.  REmake comes in a close second
