Sega confirms Yakuza 4 demo for Europe

A demo of gangster-brawler Yakuza 4 will be muscling its way onto the European PlayStation Store on February 23, Sega has announced.

PlayStation Plus subscribers will gain early access to the demo on February 16.

The bite-sized teaser will allow gamers to hop into the shoes of any of the game’s four main characters, each one boasting their unique fighting style.

According to the press blurb, Sega’s billing the demo as “a taste of what to expect from Yakuza 4, the game that lets you experience what it is like to be a part of the Japanese underworld.”

Yakuza 4 rocks up in stores across PAL territories on March 18.

hopefully with localized subtitles...at least when the game releases here...i mean i dont got a problem with that but million of european gamers...not everybody is good at english...

and with Japanese Dub.

I hate this pseudo-analfabetic habit of americans for dubbing everything....

Japan have the best voiceovers in the world. And the Dub always fucks up with the translation. Like when a character says ~san, ~sama, ~kun, ~chan, ~senpai, etc.. to refer to someone. There aren't literal translations for it. And when translator take those suffix off, the whole understanding of social interations between characters are prejudiced.

Fortunately, in some games(i think yakuza included) they make bearable subtitles. And there is a great change of Yakuza 4 having dubs in japanese.

yes...i think they should give every game the option to choose the original language...and at least a sub of the langauge of the country you live in...okay it would cost a little bit more but it would also sell more after that...like i said not every one is good at english...

Fortunatly it's too small to be dubbed :)
