A socially moderate Mormon? I'm not American, so I'm not too familiar, but aren't Mormons known for being very socially conservative?

Did you just agree with yourself?

I'd vote for a Christian, Muslim, Bhuddist, Hindu, Atheist, and so forth.
I would not vote for a Mormon or a Scientologist because their religion is extremely foolish as well as dangerous and anyone who would follow it is not capable or trusting enough to be in power.

When they die they think they will become god-like and be given a planet where they can raise millions of children with thousands of wives just like God did with Earth. As a reward, non-mormon women will become their wives after death.
If I thought I'd be banging your wife in a few years, I'd probably be nice to you too. And if they do bring you into the church, they get rewarded in heaven for that as well.

yeah, that isn't true, and the other part is partly true, but a lot more complicated than that. You seem to be rather ignorant of the mormon faith.

typically, yes, but not all mormons are. I mean, Senator Harry Reed (senate majority leader) is a mormon and he is probably socially liberal. Mormons come in all kinds, just like any other religion.

Having spent a fair amount of my adolescence living in Utah and knowing the Mormon religion pretty much in and out, I would have no more of a problem with a moderate Mormon president than I would any other Christian faith. Yes, their religion is a little strange. Yes, they have radical elements that scare the hell out of me. Then again, so does every Protestant religion.

Yeah... That's not really true. Well, the first part is a little true but the second part is just crazy-talk.

Actually the only mormon I knew in high school was a self-obsessed dick who thought he was king of the world. But I'm not gonna say they're all like that of course.
Personally I think all religions are weird and I would rather have an atheist president. But since that won't happen within my lifetime I'm fine with moderate christians. I mean the danger is really only in radicalism.
Oh and huntsman will never win the primary, but he does have two years to change his image.
