Forums - Nintendo - Amazon UK's price for 3DS returns to £229... (from £202)

Hopefully you bagged a pre order for the 3DS while Amazon was letting it go for £202, because it seems they have put the price back up to its most expensive figure...

(If you had a pre order with Amazon UK prior to this increase, due to their Pre Order Price Guarantee you'll be charged the lowest figure the price has been since you pre ordered: so still £202!)

UPDATE EDIT: Seems the price has since been lowered back down to £202 again!

Supply and demand.

Since their preorder sold out in a day. There's no reason to not jack up the price.

I wonder what caused them to change the price back...

AMAZON U CRAZY

(man, id be superpissed if i had bought it yesterday, when it jumped 30 quid for only 24 hours)

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.
