Personally I've been confused for the longest time as to why a console that offers a controller with a spinner doesn't have tempest, well now the 360's finally got it, and I've got plans to download it as soon as I get home from college,

I really hope the modern mode lives up to tempest 2000 

but does anyone know if the mad catz controller with the spinner is supported?

Tempest is rubbish, I remember thinking that with old arcade version when I was a kid. Mind you, each to his own

good for you I think it is fantastic, anyway it doesn't answer if the spinner works with it or not

As I said it's fair enough, that was my opinion, but most people love it, I personally love mappy but nobody else seems too : (

 Mappy doesn't have anything to do with if the spinner on the mad catz controller works with tempest

side note I like mappy as well
