I really doubt it since hanhelds sell the best in Japan and we all know Japan shuns the box.

Microsoft is doing a Win Phone 7 initiative and plugging games for it.  Consider the Win Phone 7 Microsoft's game platform iniitative.

Yeah WP7 is their handheld. And for the future they are already developing Windows 8 which will work on both arm and x86 architecture so we might even see cross gaming beetween pc and phones.
