regarding Sony having a wii mote type thing back in 2004...

even if they DID have it back then, either way, they still said that motion control was a gimick and stupid dozens of times after that. so either way, they ate crow.

Sony is in the "It won't work well" phase. Don't worry, they'll grow out of it when they learn how to do their own version of 3D on the NGP Go.

 


its a diffrent case.

sony didnt come out and say 3d shoudnt be portable. someone came and asked them is their going to be 3d for the ngp and they said no we think that 3d shoudnt be portable.

also considering that sony can easily put 3d on their portable theyr not going to eat crow.


Ah I see. So when Sony are eating crow, they won't actually be eating crow even if they are eating crow.

people who say that the Move wasnt being worked on prior to Wiimote is in denial. Their is a whole article done by GI that states Sony did in fact have a prototype prior to Wii and last I checked GI isnt owned by Sony, but that doesnt mean they werent talking crap, now that SIxasix BS, that was a direct rip of the Wiimote, so Ninty fans you can feel free to tear that thing apart.  As for 3d maybe Sony will eat crow but what the guy is saying does make sense and anyone who cant see the difference in watching a 40 inch 1080p game/movie in your living with surround sound than watching a tiny screen on a jumping bus/train/car i feel sorry for them

well sony is bringing out portable 3D cameras, tvs and laptops 

so the whole statement by sony that 3D shouldn't be portable isn't true

what do you mean when you say this?  how is it difficutly to use 3D on the go?  Its the same as all 3D.  People aren't running down the streets playing handhelds.  they are SITTING on a bus, bench, car, chair, couch, hell wherever or else STANDING in line, against wall, ect.  They are not walking and playing, jogging and playing, on their bikes and playing.

sitting while stationary I can agree with, but considering I can get eyestrain and a headache trying to read on a moving vehicle, and I got a similar thing trying to watch Jackass 3D (probably not the best example, but the only 3D movie I've watched) I can imagine that trying to watch something in 3D while on a moving vehicle would give you some issues.

Yea, the same happens to me.  Even though I still do it, I actually get eye strain as well as nauseous from reading and or playing psp when in a moving vehicle.

really?.... come on. they went onto destroy the wiimote idea so many times, and talked too much shit about it,  and at the end they ended up doing it too.... that my friend, is eating almost every freaking crow that has ever existed.

Crows have far more shit inside of them, meaning when Sony eats crows, they will be all the more full of shit :D

I really don't get the big deal, all companies say stupid stuff like this and then capitalize when they realize it has potential.
