You lose point 2. The original Legend of Zelda was about 12 hours long my first time through it. We're holding to cancelling out, though, so we'll wait to see if Skyward Sword is easier than Wind Waker and Twilight Princess and Ocarina.

So, you made a bad bet.

The problem is you've made a lot of bad assumptions, here. Art design is not necessarily indicative of subject matter, ease, or length. Equating these things was fallacious beyond reason.

You're not getting my point, Nintendo is targetingwith it's full motion, artstyle, e3 on screen controls to a more casual audience who will buy more copies.

and meh, cancel 3, I don't want my bet suddenly cancelled

You're keeping point 3 because you definitely lose point 2.

And no, I got your point perfectly well, my point is that you have absolutely no grounds to say that. You know what the most accessible (not best or most appealing) game in the series was? The first one, which stands as the most rock-hard game in the series that uses a traditional perspective.

You don't have any indications that Skyward Sword is being dumbed down, you just insist that it is for no particular reason. That HUD from E3 won't be there if you don't want it to be - Hell, it may not be there at all!

You don't have a dog in this fight; you have no argument, no point, and no ground to stand on. All you're doing is insisting for the sake of insistence, and that is boundlessly tiresome, a waste of your energy and my time.

So you're in the bet or not?

Of course I am (I basically tricked you into accepting the length condition because you lost it automatically), but you need to realize that the grounds that you have for these assumptions is fallacious. You see that, right? You're thinking these things for reasons that don't actually mean anything.

Ok, so it's official then, I may not have solid grounds, but I have my crystal ball
