Lets just pretend it was possible, which it is. But lets just say it actually happens. Do you think it would lay a beat down on the 3DS regarding sales? Just curious what you guys think.

Wtih half decent to decent games available at launch at that price, then it should be able to sell very well especially when it released near the holiday season.

Except of course Sony would be selling it at a big loss.

I would hope it would put up a very good fight.  The 3DS would still win I think, but it would be much closer, any 70% market dominance wouldn't happen I think.  Best case scenario 55%-45% split.  Worst case, 70%-30% again.

at start it 3DS will be ahead but over time NGP could impress people

3DS would still win but not in a rout 

i was thinking this too -- no way it would dominate but a 50/50ish split on the market would be quite possible.

if the NGP was $250 i would hands definently get it over the 3DS -- i'm sure many others would go the other way.  maybe i'd change my mind once i get to test both for myself but HD>3D in this case.

Then 3DS would be Dreamcasted or Gamegeared
