i was thinking this too -- no way it would dominate but a 50/50ish split on the market would be quite possible.
if the NGP was $250 i would hands definently get it over the 3DS -- i'm sure many others would go the other way. maybe i'd change my mind once i get to test both for myself but HD>3D in this case.
