Forums - Sony - Sony: PSP2 will not support 3D

I should also add that the (very expensive) OLED screen the PSP2 is using and the power behind the machine DOES allow for stereoscopic  3D which is superior to the 3D on the 3DS. The catch is, you'd either have to buy U$100 glasses or a similarly priced sheet to put over the device's screen.

if they go for a sheet with lenticular lenses, it will never cost $100

...well, maybe it will cost $100, but producing it would cost next to nothing

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

mna i really see PSP2 got not slightly a change against the 3DS...im not a supporter of 3D but i know the casuals...first of all the lower price tag...of course 90% of the casuals buy the cheaper option and then the 3D..."oh its cheaper and got 3D...fukk the PSP"...i mean casuals specially little kids, mothers and girls would prefer buying "Hannah Montana rides a Pony 3D" than "Little Big Planet not 3D" on a system that is double the price of the 3DS...and the core gamers arent enough...only look at this generation...

So now Core gamers will buy the NGP and casuals will buy the 3DS... That's an argument I've been hearing for 6 years? Man I wonder when this way of thinking will die down because I never heard this bullshit during the PS2 era and before about Casual and non-casual. Give this way of thinking a rest it's really getting boring seeing these kinds of comments.

I bought two sets of Phantasy Star Portable. While JRPG for me, believe it or not. But if these games were console, I would not bother to PSP. Simple as that. I used the HDTV cable and a small TV to play. PS3 versions would be better.

Good, less eyestrain to worry about.
