It is actually approaching the size of smaller E-Readers.

I think the whole approach is interesting.

Sony probably thinks they need to differentiate themselves into being the most powerfull portable console out there. They DO need to carve out a niche for this thing and a larger size and PS3-like power is certainly a way to do it.

Apparantly the cramped fingers while holding a PSP aren't going anywhere, The analog sticks sould be at the top of the device, not the bottom... stupid.

hopefully the touch screen and pad aleviate some of this burdon.

Personally I would have preferred a PSPGo size model...  maybe in a couple of years.

Also, does it have video out?

I dunno two negative, one positive seems fair to me. Just trying to inform people and express my opinions! I'm sure all three threads are of the highest standard. I can't help it that I'm a pessimist by nature but I think Its perfectly understandable to have both a negative and positive opinion on a system.

Man everyone pointed out my negative threads, saying I shouldn't post them. Well my positive thread has 20-views and was written almost at the same time as my two negative threads. Yet the negative threads have been viewed over 230-times each. That is over 11x the number of views then my positive thread, also I don't have a single reply on my positive thread yet I got more then 2-pages in what half an hour on my negative thread.

Views and replies show you guys prefer my negative threads, and you wonder why I sometimes post them.

At least in Japan "portable" doesn't mean it has to fit in your pants' pockets, but rather in your bag or jacket pockets.

this. tablets are popular now and sony was smart to go in this direction its no fun watching videos or web browsing on a cramped screen.

they can even make a xl version, i love big screens and that screen looks awesome
