mentions nothing about blu-ray 1.1 on the changelog though...
what does this one actually do? aka detailed specs please?

thats all i can find,
downloading as we speak... and yes divx and xvid is supported

oh, and there is a folder over the video bar naed "bd data utility". im guessing that has something to do with the new blu-ray profile. im hoping, anyway

woot so excited. i didnt know we were going to get WMV i thought only divx was planned.
this is a nice surprise guess microsoft is pretty nice with sony.

it plays every xvid file i've thrown at it. as proprietary as sony seems to be, you must admit they swallowed their pride and brought a feature that people want despite the conflict of interest (sony pictures) and piracy issues.

yeah, im literally throwing all my divx/wmv and xvid files onto the ps3 now and removing all the converted ones, its a real space saver as i dont have to keep them on my laptop anymore!
