Not true, many porn stars are either in Montreal, Germany, Sweden, and a few other countries over there in Europe and of course Russia.

The two images don't *quite* match up measurement-wise when flipped and superimposed, but due to the angle the photo was taken, the pose, the hair style, and general facial feature similarities suggest the fan artist who did that particular rendition of Samus was using that specific photo of that specific model as a reference.

As for the model being the inspiration for Samus, the character of Samus was created probably a good decade plus before this model was even born.

Yeah but for that particular piece of fan art it's modeled off the model shown here

I don't think there is a "standard" way to design samus face, due to the fact that she always wear the suit the face wasn't so important, if you think about it the samus face you see in other M is quite different from the one you see in Prime and Smash Bros.
