Maybe... but it did do 150k on the Wii. I'd expect it to at least to half of that and maybe more (like the recent Yakuza game)

Wii is still 1st WW and nicely up in Japan, but PS3 wins again.

Yes, I know, I was ingenuous, but I believed that Ninty would eventually start again behaving more rationally and stop killing its goose that laid golden eggs.

The PS3 seems sett to dominate till October at least. It has a very strong August/ September lineup consisted of Mh3P, Armored Core, Sengoku mousou 3 Empires, Dark Soul and Robot Wars, a RE annivrsary pack and another RE game (survival something), and even more ok selling games...

The only Notable game in August/ September for the Wii is the DQ anniversary pack

I have to wonder exactly how big of a boost the DQ collection will give Wii. It hasn't even entered the COMG charts yet. It's still pretty much a foregone conclusion that PS3 will win the year. Wii would need to have an utterly miraculous recovery during the holidays to even get close at this point.

What DQ games are in that pack ? And didn't they release almost all of them on DS already ?

I remember when the PS3 got an FFXIII demo in a blue ray movie back in 2009 and sales got boosted to around 55-60k in mid april. I think it could happen the similarly for the Wii since the DQ collection has a preview for DQX. However that said i don't think it will sustain sales which the Wii desperately needs :/

DQ 1, 2 & 3.. similar to the mario pack last year

And no i don't believe they got released on the DS

Ahh i didn't know it has DQ X demo. That could increase Wii into 30k range imho.

Not a demo. Just the first trailer. And the same day the game releases it starts the Tokyo Game Show, and probably they show the trailer there too. So, don't expect such increase.
