Earth Defense Force wasn't worthwhile then, I still win

Anyone who says that most certainly does not win.

Still not worthwhile?

I am fapping so fucking hard right now.

But MS charges extra fees for games on more than one disc.

I guess that info would be worth something if we actually knew the price difference.

All we really know is Bluray discs are hella expensive to consumers and PS3 lost billions mostly because of Bluray technology.

Enough that multiple devs have gone on record and said they cut out parts of games because of it.

Who?

I have a feeling your only example is gonna be Lost Planet 2.

LP2 is one, Rage and Project Gotham Racing 4 are two more.

Both are mentioned in the one article.  Probably find others if I wanted to google some.

a random comment about pgr4 without anything backing it up...and a comment  about rage and stretching it into fanboy garbage when it was about how they structured the game not about removing content.

additionally, microsoft doesnt charge people for having more discs...the only costs are the actual costs of the disks, which has nothing to do with microsoft.  sogtfo

Xbox 360 plays xbox 1 games in 720p HD btw...Every game which is backwards compatible is already in HD.

Really!? I've played one of the Xbox games recently, Fable: TLS I think, I found the graphics apalling! Are you sure that's the best juice it has?

Yeah I'm with you man. I've played Aliens vs. Predators from the Xbox on the 360 and its graphics are BAD! Its graphics weren't good back then either but they certainly aren't 720p now.

So what are you arguing? Your response is an article discussing how 360 discs could be holding back PS3 and PC games?

Weren't you arguing developers cut content because they don't want to use multiple discs to save money? Find an article proving that.

Besides if MS fees weren't the issue that means DVD cost is, so either way 360 HD remake collections held back by DVD limitations.

I'm still waiting for you to prove that and you know DVD discs are very inexpensive compared to Bluray. As I mentioned, Sony lost BILLIONS thanks to Bluray.

Perhaps Sony might be paying for exclusivity of HD remakes. There must be some reason for the influx all of a sudden.

I considered maybe MS doesn't want them on the market for competitive reasons. Those bundles could hurt the sales of big budget games.

I got a feeling that is exactly the reason, even if those games were released on DVD's, ie, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell etc. They would not number more than 2/3 disks. I think the cost of Bluray disk is much higher than those, especially if buying in bulk.
