hey guys, thanks for all the detailed and thought provoking replies and awesome ideas! and thankyou all for of your feedback and encouragement.

I just wanted to pop in and say I haven't abandoned this thread or anything. I am carefully making note of every new post and preparing a sort of list that addresses the common issues, which I will put up as a sort of draft on the front page. I am also preparing a post with my own opinions on some of the issues brought up here, which will be posted in the thread like any other post.

Currently school and stupid mid-terms are kinda getting in my way, is all...

so keep bringing in the fantastic ideas, and remember this is Nintendo we're talking about - please remember to simplify and think as frugally as possible!

Give me F-Zero and give me Star Fox.

Also, I know that this might be controversial but make a new, kick ass M-Rated IP, but do something really unique that isn't just about the 3B's (boobs, blood, and beasts).  Do this to show people not only that you can do it, but that you can do it really well.  The key is being unique.  Don't do anything that's like anyone else but do something edgy.  Also, it takes aim at the one demographic that you're not murdering the competition.

Also, I have to agree with the people saying that they need to fix their online gaming.

Ignore the desires of developers and the whining core, chase the desires of the mass market, sales and high profits



Rumors indicate that it is planning on following the first approach, sticking a new, motion-sensitive controller onto an existing console. Our perspective is that this is the worst of the three options.

-Clayton Christensen back in 2007 already knew Move would be a bad idea

@axt113 thats what they've been doing. and for the love of god, where the hell is Mario Tennis (not that NPC garbage, that was terrible) or Mario Golf those should have been made years ago

They haven't done it enough, as Other M, Galaxy, Wii Music and other flops have shown

@axt113  are you serious? have you been to a game store lately? There are more WiiSports/Fit ripoffs than their are core games by a mile. Ninty made follow ups to Wii sports and Fit. THey just had Wii party. There are only so much variations on those simple games you can make. Hell the only thing left for them to do is make those Mario sports spin offs with full motion control. and WiiMusic is not core, not even close
