Uncharted 3 by a long way. I predict Zelda Skyward Sword will disappoint, first Zelda game to get a below 90 metacritic.

Around the Network

The Last Guardian - 94%
Uncharted 3 - 93%
Gears 3 - 93%
Litle Big Planet 2 - 92%
Zelda - 91%

Which means all of them will be beaten by the 2011 GOTY Skyrim at 95%.

Uncharted 3 or The Last Guardian.

I don't know why, I just have a feeling that Skyward Sword will be pretty story-light. And though that would probably make it a more entertaining game for me, it might lower the game's Metascore by a few points.

This is just conjecture, though. I wish Nintendo wasn't so damn tight-lipped about that game. ¬_¬

Uncharted 3, nothing else can even come close

Comments like these have not served people well in the past.

Don't ever think any game is a shoe in for a score above 95.

It depends. The previous games in the series have, so...

It'd be like predicting Galaxy 2 to get below 80 on Metacritic, it was never going to happen

Not true. Others have in the past

Also, there's no proof this will occur. Nintendo REALLY wnt this game to do well, and after Galaxy, I ain't doubting them

Nintendo have said it will be different to the rest. Galaxy was light on story, that never counted against it.

I think the promised inginuity will be enough to keep it high, maybe even 97/98

Not Exclusive though. Bad luck

Who said anything below 80? I said above 95.

How do you know Galaxy couldn't get below 95? (I dunno maybe you do) this industry and its reviewers are unpredictable. Not many sequels score the same as the first.

Skyward Sword just seems so lackluster, I have never seen a Zelda game that has looked so unimpressive before launch, and this sentiment is the one the gaming media and many fans feel as well. We could all be wrong in the end though.

I'm well aware it could have gone below 95, and many expected it to do so. Some even below 80. But I never expected it to. In hindsight,  it would have made sense to, as it lost the one thing which made the original so great, the "wow" factor. But fortunately it didn't. I expect SS to do the same, hence why I expect it to be the highest rated of 2011. But we'll see
