Forums - Sales - The conduit nearly gone gold!

I know this subject was done to death a while ago but whilst browsing the sales on this site, i noticed The Conduit was at 486-ishk. Last week it sold nearly 3k copies, so, slowly it is crawling to 500k, a respectable LT IMO. I predict it should be up to 500k, barring adjustments in the next 5 or 6 weeks. I guess this makes the game neither a flop or a roaring success just somewhere in between. Be nice to see it pass that milestone, though. HOTD overkill at 750k now too. Selling 1k a week though. Wonder if that has an outside chance of 1m?

im sorry but this game is a flop. end of story. FPSs are one of the most popular if not THE most popular genre this gen and you mean to tell me after a year and a half on the market with a install base of 80mil it still hasnt gold!!! Ive seen FPSs on either HD consoles that had less ads hell even worst reviews and still did much better than Conduit. Hopefully 2 does much better

500k is a sort of average sell for a FPS game on Wii and Wii games do tend to take forever to reach sales milestones!

I wouldn't call it a flop... modest success at best. The sales of this game is really nothing to boast about though.

Remember how hyped this game was before the release? Great stuff.

Well whats this thread really about?

Do you think Conduit is doing well? Or is just doing well for the generally poor sales of core games on Wii?

Eitherway, this milestone isn't worth celebrating. I think most people thought this would happen sooner.

It's kind of a cause for celebration, however hollow. I, for one, didn't think it would reach this milestone and i'm sure i'm not alone in that. I thought the fact that it looks like it will reach 500k may surprise some people.

WTH are you guys talking about??? 500k is average sales for FPSs on Wii? sure that are, if you choose to ignore the 500 pound gorilla called COD, each of those titles (sans BO) have gone past a million, hell Goldeneye JUST came out and it already is kicking the crap out of Conduit. And yeah im surprised at its sales, im surprised their so terrible, all the coverage and hype I thought it would have reached a mil this time last year
