I have never tried the 3DS before so I was wondering how well it works?
I know some of you have actually tried it from events and things so how well does the 3D actually work?
Does it work as good as in theaters with glasses?

I haven't tried it but I remember the reactions from E3 were extremely positive, everyone there said it work great

1. I played about 2 hours total on the system at E3 last year. I can confirm it works.
2. Of the hundreds of thousands around the globe that have had a chance to use it (developers, media, retailers, consumers, etc...) the ratio of positve to negative reactions to the 3D are overwhelmingly in the positive favor. I've read very, very few negative reports and most were dubious in their claims to begin with.

Just want to point out that the 3D effect can vary from game to game. Some people who praise the 3D have had trouble with 3D in some games but not in others, so I think it depends a bit on the game. But yeah, the positive response is much greater than the negative response, so it definitely works.
Its all lies.
It burns your eyes son. Stay away from it.

Cool.
As of now I don't plan on buying a 3DS because I am done with Handheld game systems...I want the DS to be my last one but I like 3D...
Anyway, if I were to buy one someday my top games would be Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, and Resident Evil Revelations...did you try any of them...did they work?

Saw all of them and they looked fantastic.
Rainbird is correct though and I started to make mention of this myself. Some titles showcased the 3D effects much better than others. But I cannot confirm is that's simply do to being early in development, programming difficulties or other factors. The 3 titles you listed were on the list of titles that showed the 3D quite well.
