Well, first of all, your initial statement smacks of black and white thinking (this is a logical fallacy, not a reference to race).  Secondly, I might agree with you if you removed the words "compared to him" and "the other" from your statement.  As it is, well, enjoy the kool-aid.  Obama is no better than any of the other politicians over here (including Palin whom you labled in such a sophisticated and not-at-all popular sensationalist way).

sigh... I feel like there is such a vast expanse between my way of thinking and yours. I wouldn't blame Obama if he only talked to liberals. There's such huge miscommunication going on. I'm so intimidated to even approach Republicans about politics because I frankly have no idea where the emotion is coming from, and they get so upset.....getting crazy about imaginary things like "death panels", whereby some underground government agency would, theoretically, kill old people. Ironies; like Fox's "don't trust the media".
