A 360 or PS3 pad are basically an altered PSone pad with wireless. Thats archaic. Yet people enjoy it, don't they?
It's fun as hell with people, but unlike Rock band, it is kinda lame alone. Rock Band I would actually play alone.

Do they enjoy it? Well DDR is sort of fading into obscurity. Games like Just Dance and Dance Central are now selling more software than DDR ever did.
Obviously I'm calling it archaic because they've been using those dance pads since 90s. The Power pad is a similar device which existed in the 80s...

Dance Central isn't about fun, its about learning the coolest dance moves so you can take them to the club and get laid.
Finger work on plastic Rock Band guitars never got anyone laid!

I'm not that casual to play a dancing game, but if you say so I'll believe you.
I think people were still fighting proudly to have the best hardcore machine, not the best casual dance game...
