Hmm that is true, I think the US is the most "virgin" market for the US, because the US was the slowest to switch over from the GBA

The DS is a monster that just keep growing and growing soon nothing can stop it
Think twice before helping a friend in need.
Where is the Sony bashing? It wouldn't be a fishyjoe thread without him bashing Sony at least once!
You know, I'm still kind of baffled why the DS has done so well. I mean I love mine and the games are great... but it's moving like a madman.
And is there a great deal of benefit to having two screens? I think the touch screen has been a key asset but I have to question the benefit of having a second screen.
Both the Wii & DS have become "global brands", that may well be here forever.
DS's will break, people grow older, kids grow into "DS owning age" (and want a new one, not a DS that is 3 years old!), people will pick up spares, etc.
There is *no* limit to the number of DS's that can be sold - they literally will sell forever, the only thing that will stop it - is the next model being released. Which will also use the DS name, you can believe that.
(if there are 250m people in the US, and ages are evenly distributed between ages 1..100 - which of course it isn't, there are always more "kids" - thats 2.5m people *every year* that come into DS buying age. I think there might be a sustained market for 10-15m DS's per year for example - its different with a console, as its usually one per house - and thats it).

It's not a matter of if, but when.
keep in mind that DS didn't even have the push that Wii has had this year during its first year. I would bet 3 yrs from now, Wii will be selling far faster than DS is now.
