It more of a energy type ....ypu guys are looking a more physical outlook to judge it seems to be lacking in this installment. from announcement to release LBP2 just seemed dead... like im sure when something like killzone or infamous 2 release or come close when will have a trillon threads about.

Why should people that own the game be on an internet website when they would be playing their game? It's what I did when playing Monster Hunter 3 for months and over 6 hours per day.

Because I kicked the shit out of that game LONG ago. I don't feel like playing the games I've got right now. Ur taking what I said way out of context. This game is NEW, should be played by those that bought the game, not go on an internet website and talk about it, especially if you haven't experienced more than lets say ten hours of the game. It's what I did with MH. I actually came back here after 200 hours of playing because that's how awesome MH is and addicting.

people have learn to not hover hype games that's it, that way they won't be disappointed when the game doesn't meet their over the top expectations

no one on my friends list is playing it, but my friend list only play cod so thats to be expected

well that's why the first lbp sold 4.2 million being a newcomer!

Ok, I will need to add it now that I got it.  I started a number of LBP2 threads, and picked it up.  Already played through it and want to hunt down new content for it.    I have to say, despite the fact it is a construction set type game, the levels are NOT cookie cutter.  I would say the variety of ways to play made for a play experience that is more varied than normal platformers.

All I can say is... GET IT!

Hey, anyone into LBP2, add monkrush (me) to your PSN friend list.  I want to get LBP2 into CADERS, and need help of people on the PS3 side to help out.

Well remember that DMeisterJ was the one behind that whole "LPB will be HUGE!" VGChartz campaign back in 2008, and now he's not here... so that's part of it I guess. And the first LBP was Sony's new premier platformer, which got Nintendo and Sony fans in some tussles around here (which of course added to the energy being pent up at the time).

I got the game yesterday and it's awesome so far. It's hard to believe they managed to do all the things in the story levels with the level creation tools.

Co-op is done extremely well again. We're only on world 3 so far and haven't laughed so hard playing a game since lbp 1. So far we've had the grapling hook, wich also hooks on eachother for interesting gameplay and hilarious screw ups. The power glove with which you can pick up and throw objects, and also pick up eachother and throw your partner up or off a ledge. You can even stack a tower 4 high of sack boys. Then there's the cakinator, basically platforms you can shoot anywhere that stick to all kinds of surfaces. (including sack boys)

The level I created was still there and it works in LBP2. The lighting looks a lot better in LBP2 although it does look a bit bland now compared to the new story levels. They dialed up the detail to 10 for this version.

Anyway get this game, it's amazing.
